Medical Director, Women's Health

Promoting physician best practices and ensuring that we provide the highest quality of care to Thirty Madison patients everywhere is vital to supporting the patient experience. Accordingly, we’re looking for a patient-obsessed and quality-focused Medical Director to join KMG Medical Group to lead our Reproductive and Sexual Health offerings. This provider will be responsible for building a clinical program that’s second to none, streamlining best practices, and overseeing providers.

In this role, you’ll be the clinical leader and representative of our latest offerings in Reproductive and Sexual Health. You will help build the core provider infrastructure supporting the business unit, starting with scaling our quality programs, optimizing our diagnostic and prescribing protocols, best practices, and service-level expectations required to deliver the highest quality of care. You will be responsible for overseeing physicians and advanced practice providers and ensuring that care is continuously delivered according to guidelines. You will be an external thought-leader, representing the business in press and external communications, marketing content development, conference participation, partnership exploration, and research planning and development. Lastly, you may also conduct telemedicine consultations, which will help you keep your pulse on the patient and their experience, and work with key business stakeholders to redefine and uplevel the experience based on your observations.

This position is remote and reports to the Senior Medical Director of KMG.

• The base pay range for this position is $264,720-$363,990 per year**

**Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual incentive plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.

What you get to do every day

• Refine and expand the reproductive and sexual health clinical frameworks and implement new guidelines as needed, including but not limited to the diagnostic framework, the online patient consultation intake process, and the annual renewal consultation
• Partner with business stakeholders, including the General Manager, to help pilot, test, and roll out new initiatives designed to enhance the quality of care and improve the customer experience
• Support portfolio expansion, including researching and recommending new products
• Review sample consults completed each week to provide specific feedback and coaching to providers; extract learnings from consult reviews and organize continuing education training for providers
• Manage providers on the platform, serve as a point of escalation for quality and professionalism concerns
• Be available for consultation with our staff providers and if needed perform consults
• Represent KMG at conferences and in the community where applicable and appropriate
• Collaborate with a panel of medical advisors and the business team on cross-functional priorities (e.g. patient outcomes research, publications, content for our blog); identify and support recruiting of new advisors to our advisory board
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the marketing team to represent the brand in media inquiries, content creation, and partnership development

What you bring to the role

• MD/DO with ABMS Board Certification in either OB/GYN, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with Fellowship or Expertise in Women’s Health
• At least two (2) years of telehealth experience
• Multiple state licenses required; must have at least 10 licenses
• Excellent written and verbal communication with an emphasis on clarity and compassion
• Ability to consult with patients through virtual communication channels
