Headlight offers a multiple disciplinary approach to mental healthcare, including therapy, coaching, support groups, medication management and self-care resources. Available via virtual visits or in-person, we make mental wellness easy and accessible. Our mission is to deliver mental health services in a way that’s easier and more human for everyone involved. Headlight is looking to add 1099 Supervising Psychiatrist to support our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Meeting with your provider at a regular cadence (2 hours per month), typically via teleconference in an individual setting. These meetings may support general clinical and professional development questions as well as other aspects of the collaborative relationship.

· Review and respond to clinical questions and escalations during normal business hours

· Conduct 5 chart reviews per month

· Act as the collaborating/supervising physician, overseeing care providing by NP's.

· Execute duties outlined in collaborative practice/supervising physician agreements, including tele-meetings, case reviews, and prescription consultations.

· Provide guidance and mentorship to the clinicians under your supervision.

· Offer constructive feedback on clinician performance.

· Maintaining remote access to Company’s Electronic Medical Records (“EMR”) system.

· Electronic Health Record (EHR) Proficiency: Must have demonstrated experience in utilizing electronic health record systems efficiently to manage patient data, document clinical information, and access patient histories. Familiarity with NextGen is highly desirable.

· Computer Skills: Strong computer literacy with proficiency in a range of software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations. Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and troubleshoot common issues.

Qualifications

· State California Medical License, focus Behavioral Health, Psychiatry

· Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology

· Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification

· Preferred 2 years of Mental Health Practice Experience

· Clinical and administrative supervisory experience.

· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
